Whilst completing bleaching surveys, the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority will use the opportunity to assess any damage to the reef from Tropical Cyclone Larry. They will do an initial assessment that will be followed up with more comprehensive surveys by the Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS).
