The Pelican has landed! She is now in Cairns, and the project is almost over.
Pelican has been monitoring coral bleaching on the Great Barrier Reef. The area for research was divided into five groupings of reefs to study, each of which took approximately one week. The monitoring has now finished.
Transect: line chosen along which observations are made and measurements are taken.
